ASU Steam Upfit

As Appalachian State expands there is a continuing need to update and enlarge the aging steam heating lines that heat each building.  The Steam Tunnel Project phase 1 is well under way to providing new steam lines to the Holmes Convocation Center.  This project involved the construction inside and out of the Convocation Center, the crossing of Hill St., and site work.  As another part of this project the entrance to the John E. Thomas building was demolished and will be reconstructed with a paver ramp, rock walls and granite sitting areas.
