Town of Boone Water Plant Storage

With the clean water needs of the Town of Boone increasing, the need for extra room at the intake plant increased as well. We worked with officials at the Water Treatment Plant off of Deck Hill Rd. to create a large storage area and maintenance bay between the two buildings. The alley that existed before would collect huge snow drifts in the winter that blocked deliveries. Greene Construction designed a roof system to cover the alley and fitted garage doors. The roof structure was sandwiched between the brick building on one side and a metal building on the other. With the completion of the project we created a large dry storage area that would still allow delivery of treatment chemicals. The Town Of Boone has made plans to finish the electrical and up fit of the interior with their own forces.
